Amrita
The Echo of Clay.
Amrita brings the immortal into focus, the vital energy that moves through bodies, memory, and creation. Its echo—the echo of clay—resounds in matter, in what is most humble and earthly. This project emerges as a bridge between the eternal and the present moment, between the imagery that dwells in the depths and its embodiment in concrete forms. It is within this passage that the creative act takes place: bringing the invisible into matter, the intimate into what is shared.
This residency proposes a space-time of connection: with the place, with ancestral memory, and with the symbolic energy that is activated through making. Each piece created carries a spiritual charge; each gesture, each mark in the clay, is part of a ritual. Giving form to these works is a transformative experience, an act of presence and invocation. The sound that emerges from each sculpture not only reveals its interior, but also connects with the territory from which it originates, positioning its presence in the world as if it were a living spirit.
The focus will be on the creation of sound sculptures: objects that reveal sounds and, at the same time, new ways of understanding the relationship between ceramics and the sonic world. This process also incorporates personal symbols, cultural references, and materials that resonate with both the intimate and the collective.
Amrita. The Echo of Clay is a dialogue between ancestral traditions and contemporary contexts. A creative and generative journey in which personal imagery finds form and vibration, and where art becomes a way of listening, remembering, and transforming.
